Wunderkammer
Wunderkammer is a collaborative project between Enrique Doza and Xavier Riembau
Wunderkammer (from German, “wonder room”, i. e. places where, during the great explorations, a multitude of strange objects were collected) is a collaborative project of ethnological experimentation shared by Enrique Doza and Xavier Riembau. Enrique Doza is a graphic artist, musician, activist and the man behind Tienda Derecha, TD Papeles and TNT. He has played in bands like Perro Roboto in his native Venezuela or Las Burning Ladillas in his current home in Barcelona. Xavier Riembau spins records as Diego Armando, is a member of Finis Africae and Infra DJ’s, and conducts the radio program “Soroll de Fons” in Scannerfm. Wunderkammer’s live shows are unpredictable, sonic improvisations in Planet Earth and beyond. With a mixer, vinyl decks, a handful of pedals, drum machines and keys, they take audiences to a journey towards places unknown also to them. Wunderkammer have performed in festivals like LEM, Poesia , Festival Internacional de Torre Maria, Recorreguts Sonors and venues like Hangar, Convent de Sant Agustí, LaIsla, Macba Museum, among others.
